What we're looking for

Careem is looking for a rock star growth hacker who is part product manager, part marketer, part engineer, part data scientist and all time hacker. This individual will laser focus only in one goal: Growth. The main role of this growth hacker is to test-learn-improve to find predictable and scalable growth processes and improve the numbers for growth with these processes. Growth hackers have a hustler-like personality, not believing in limits and always striving to achieve the unreasonable. This is a role that requires you to dream big for attaining growth, and then make those dreams a reality. Growth hackers are obsessed with A/B testing and measuring, always analytical and data driven, insane about scalability and laser focuses on Growth.


  • Help defining metrics/KPIs to focus on
  • Find ideas to improve KPIs
  • Continuously A/B test different ideas
  • Analyze and report results of the tests
  • Get user feedback through surveys
  • Use machine learning and predictive analytics to model growth opportunities
  • Drive massive upticks in user acquisition, activation, retention, and referrals
  • Work in cross-functional teams with product, engineering and marketing side by side to tackle growth
  • Build dashboards for monitoring KPIs and performances
  • Prepare reports on a regular basis
  • Scale and automate the growth process
  • Guide on targets and budgets

Qualifications & skills required

  • You have 3-5 years of work experience and have a degree from an accredited university
  • Preferably from Computer, Industrial or other Engineering perspective (Optional)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a tech startup company
  • Digital Marketing and product experience
  • Analytics / Data driven approach: Clear understanding of data, analytics, metrics and statistics
  • SQL (must have), Tableau (nice to have), Hive (nice to have)
  • Programming knowledge (must), preferably python and nodejs experience
  • A/B testing and data analytics experience
  • Machine learning skills is a plus
  • Extremely curios to learn
  • Experience in CRM and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Braze, Optimizely is a plus
